A New Brian/Justin Fan!

Zomg, I can't believe this but I converted one of my friends, a friend that couldn't even stand the thought of two guys together, into a Brian and Justin fan. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. I'm still a bit surprised she took to it so well. Also kind of proud she actually gave the show a shot. Especially since the only reason why we were watching it was because we were bored and there was nothing else to watch. I expected for her to ask me to put something else on after episode one where Justin walked into the loft and started thinking and visualizing all the times he and Brian had done it in the place, but she didn't. In fact we got through the whole thing.

When we finished she even asked if we could watch the next season and the other seasons as well. I must say that Justin's prettiness in Season 3 was one of the reasons why she loved it so much. She couldn't stop looking at him and kept on commenting on how pretty he looked. I happily concurred. Needless to say she also loved the chemistry between Gale and Randy, which of course was another drawing factor. 

I'm really amused by all this and like I said proud that she even gave it a shot. I started reading fluffy fanfics about two guys with crushes on each other where all they ever did was kiss before I even started to look at other stuff. Like yaoi manga and anime. It was only after that did I finally watch Queer as Folk and was able to fully appreciate the show without feeling sqeamish about all the sex and nudity. So yeah, to go from being weirded out by the very thought of two guys kissing to watching Queer as Folk is a very big step for her. And now I have someone to talk to about one of my favorite shows. Hee.

Hey! good for you!!

That's quite a step, most of my friends just squirm at the thought with a: I don't have anything against homosexuals, but... (I hate 'but...').

And of course, let's face it, the fact that Justin and Brian are a cake to the eye is one of the perks of the series (my!, and they ARE a cake to the eye... *drools* *cough cough* *composes herself*).

I know, I hate the 'but' too and even more because I hear it so much. And yeah, Justin and Brian are definitely cake to the eye. Especially in Season 3. They are just so both... *drool* *coughs* I lose my ability to speak at just the thought. So pretty *_*

But my favorite Brian is, as creepy as it sounds, in the finale of the first season, those three minutes when he is sitting in the hospital corridor, crying.

No, it's not. I know what you mean. Although to be completely honest I was brawling my eyes out by that time. Actually I can't even watch it again without getting teary. The expression on his face was just so simply heartbreaking. From such a high to the lowest of all lows. I love it when we see Brian so vunerable and human. So I have lots of favorite Brians (I find it hard to settle on one >_<) but that has to be one of my favorite too *nods*. Not weird or creepy at all, unless I am too ^__^

don't u miss them? gale is hot tho by himself in vanished tho i think that got canceled too. love the fanfic brian/justin belong together and the graphic nudity and sex is supposed to desensitized(sp) you so you don't care and only think about the issues. because no matter what orientation sex is always involved so its basically saying get over it.

I miss them. A LOT. I really wish they have a reunion special or something some time in the future. Or very, very soon. I don't it'd happen but a girl can still dream *sigh*.

I guess they were trying to do that. Getting people to get over the fact it's two guys going at it on screen and think about what's happening to them instead. It's funny. When my friend got to the bit where Lindsay got it on with Sam, she was like, "Wtf? Straight sex?"
